Portland’s Emergency Resource Management and its Sister Company CT Training & Consulting Proudly Donates Fully Stocked Ambulance to Support Ukraine’s Humanitarian Efforts
On Friday 3/24 Portland’s Emergency Resource Management and its sister company CT Training & Consulting proudly donated its fully stocked training ambulance which will be put to immediate and necessary use in the effort to support the humanitarian efforts of the EMS and healthcare system in Ukraine. This is now ERM’s second supportive donation. With Ukraine losing over 400 ambulances since the course of this conflict, ‘this delivery will now total 48 ambulances and 6 fire trucks that have been sent over’ says Chris Mason, Vice President of Government Relations for OSF Healthcare System in Peoria Illinois and coordinator of the donation efforts nationwide.
The other ambulance in the picture is from upper VT. Both rigs will be placed on a barge which will take approx. 2 weeks to get to Germany where they will then be driven through Poland and into to Ukraine.

What Our Clients Are Saying
“We have been using Emergency Resource Management to supply our Paramedics since August 2012. Robert Ziegler has been very attentive to our needs. The screening process they use has produced a well rounded team of medics who work well with our employees. The fact that he has an assigned supervisor here really opens up the communication between us. I would Highly recommend Erm to any EMS agency.”
ERM is proud to have been able to work in partnership with Vinal Technical High School in Middletown with its ‘Junior EMS Leadership Program’ which was established in 2021. The program is designed to familiarize young aspiring EMS leaders with the various elements that form a strong and dynamic team and will also help students develop leadership skills of their own. ERM offered an internship opportunity to a Vinal selected senior who hoped to learn more about the ins and outs of the EMS systems and leadership qualities.
At today’s Senior Awards ceremony I had the pleasure to present our intern, Emma Ostrander, with a plaque recognizing her efforts, along with a check for $5K to use towards her goal in pursuing EMS as her career.
Emma achieved her EMT certification this year and aspires to enroll in an a paramedic program after she enjoys the summer break.

Great program !
Great job
I am so proud and excited to be able to officially announce that ERM's sister co., CT Training & Consulting Institutes' training Ambulance, which I donated to help Ukraine has finally arrived in Kyiv, and I'm told has already been pressed into service. Delivered all at once were 3 fire engines, 1 ladder truck and 9 ambulances. Personally, and Professionally, it is very heartwarming to know that we have helped make a difference not just in CT, but across the world. If any service would like to add in this humanitarian effort let me know and I can set you up with my contact there. ... See MoreSee Less

Dear Mr. Manson, We express our great gratitude for the help to Ukraine. Your support is extremely important and valuable for us. Thanks your daughter Lili, who inspires you to support the Ukrainian people in this terrible war. Pupils of primary school 211 of the city of Kyiv are looking forward to meeting you. We were very glad when we had received letters from Lili. Both children and adults were pleased by that. Children and their parents prepared Ukrainian souvenirs, sweet gifts and an interactive book about Ukraine for Lili and your family. We would like to pass them with you. If are you going to come to Ukraine please let us to know about that. Thanks for your support! Looking forward to hearing from you. With kind regards Primary school teacher Marina Chernetska

Memorial Day is about remembrance of those who paid the ultimate sacrifice with their lives serving and fighting for our great country. It's NOT about barbecues, camping, parties, and store sales. R.I.P. to ALL the Men and Women who paid the ultimate sacrifice with their lives for us to be able to be “Free." When you see a service member say ‘thank you’, if you’re out eating and see one, pay for their meal, it’s the least we can do. ... See MoreSee Less

Thank You to each and every one of you for all of your Professionalism, Dedication and Pride in doing your level best each and every day to provide the highest quality of care in this often-stressful profession. As such it’s also a time to reflect and feel proud of all you have done, the lives you have saved and most importantly impacted by your efforts and skills. You truly are making a difference every day, and although we often do not hear “Thank You” for all our efforts, I think I can speak for everyone in CT to say – that appreciation does exist. So, Thank You and keep up the Great work. Whether paid or volunteer, you are all True Professionals, and we are very lucky and proud to have you! Happy EMS Week. ... See MoreSee Less
